Anna Lank proudly wearing her 75th Anniversary club patch!In 1936, the Seattle Skating Club joined U.S. Figure Skating and became one of the first clubs to join the new National Governing Body of Figure Skating in the U.S.

During the past 75 years, SSC has seen triumph and tragedy.  Our club's history is rich, our memories deep and in this year we look to the past in celebration.

To mark our anniversary, we will be launching several initiatives.

 

Marking our Anniversary with a new website!

Welcome to our new website!   We have strived to communicate more effectively with our club members, but most importantly are creating a site where we can share in the community of our skating club.  Pictures, videos, blogs from competitors in our club are just a few approaches we are hoping to include.  

Our website is updated frequently and we need your help to make it better!  Club members are invited to email to us a photo of their active club member skaters.  It is our goal to have a picture of every club skater on our site!  

We also invite anyone who has club history to help us fill in the blanks!  Video files, pictures and any other sources of club memorabilia are encouraged and appreciated!  Please email me!

 

Retro Club Merchandise!

Wearing the past is a trend this year as we begin to sell merchandise featuring the original club logo found on this page.  Currently for sale are a retro patch and pin.  Several of our skaters will be wearing the original SSC logo proudly this weekend as they compete at the NWP Regional Championships!   Please see our club merchandise page!  

 

 

 

 

Celebrate our 75 years with our Seattle Skating Ice Show! 

Shows: Friday, April 13th at 7pm, Saturday, April 14th at 11am and 5pm

Location: Olympicview Ice Arena, 22202 70th Ave. West, Mountlake Terrace, WA

Tickets: $10 for most, $5 for those under 12

Memorabilia Display!

SSC's display case at OVA has become our visual space to recognize our 75 years!  We welcome any historical memorabilia that we can display for all our members to see.  If you are driving by Olympicview Arena and want a stroll down memory lane, please stop in to the OV lobby.
