This year is very special to us as we celebrate 75 years as a U.S. Figure Skating Club. Special events and merchandise will be part of our celebration and can be found on our anniversary page.
We hope that you will be able to join us for our following events and celebrations!
January 2012
January is National Skating Month!! SSC, along with Seattle Junior Hockey, under the umbrella of the Washington Ice Skating Association will be planning a Saturday public skate Skating Month Celebration! This event will take place Saturday, Jan. 28th! Come join us at Lynnwood Ice Center!
February 2012
February 1st - is the deadline to sign up for the 75th Anniversary Ice Show!
February 3rd - is the deadline to sign up for the Rising Stars Basic Skills competition! Get you entry in by 11:59pm!
February 8th - is the deadline for us to accept your skating attire to be sold in the Skate Wear Sale! Bring your too small skating attire in a ziploc bag, (labelled with your name, email, size of the item and asking price) to Danielle or Erica at OVA by Feb. 8th!
Saturday, FEBRUARY 11th, Lynnwood Ice Center 9:30 - 11:00am!!! Come join us and find your new costumes and practice wear!

March 3rd - 8:45 to 11:15am - SSC's 2nd Annual Rising Stars Basic Skills Competition!
If last year was any indication, our Rising Stars Basic Skills Competition will be a blast! This competition is open to all SSC/Lynnwood Ice Center basic skills skaters. With every skater winning a medal, this is the perfect event for our newest members to test their blades and jump into a fun, friendly competition. Seasoned parents will be on hand to assist our new moms and dads with registering your skater and providing any "been there" advice to make this day memorable for everyone.
We are currently working on obtaining our sanction and getting our announcement ready to load on Entryeze! Check back by December 15th!!
April 2012
75th Anniversary Ice Show - APRIL 13th & 14th
Come Join SSC as we celebrate Seattle over the past 75 years! Information to sign up to be part of the show will be posted by December 1st!
DATE TBD - SSC Spring Exhibition and Critiques!
This exhibition or critique opportunity is open to all our competitive skaters. For our skaters from Frees skate 1 through Pre-Juvenile, this event gives you a chance to skate your programs alone on the ice before a crowd. For those Juvenile and above skaters, Judges and Tech Specialists will be on hand to critique your programs giving you valuable feedback for your upcoming competitive year. Dates and sign-up information will be available by December 31st, 2011.
